A crowd of 10,000 rock fans endured record-breaking heat to attend Vans Warped Tour at AT&T Center on Saturday, July 29th, 2017. Vans Warped Tour is the largest traveling rock festival in the US, and has been active since 1995. This year Warped Tour began on June 16th in Seattle, Washington and will end on August 6th in Pomona, California. During this 39-show-long run, the tour has made its way through most of the US, including Texas.
The outdoor concert had seven stages and more than 46 different artists performing throughout the day, starting from when the doors opened at 11 am up until 8 pm. The lineup included acts by Hatebreed, Andy Black, American Authors, Memphis May Fire, After the Burial, Save Ferris, CKY, Futuristic, and many more. Aside from the continuous live music, there were also several tents holding special workshops taught and led by the artists themselves, as well as music industry professionals, such as rock photographer Lisa Johnson and Alternative Press photographer and reporter K Enagonio.
